Three-show Series that Puts You Up Close and Personal at LPAC

Looking for a more intimate venue for the best of Broadway? Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) is offering a three-show series that puts audiences up close and center for big Tony Award-winning shows.

“A Chorus Line,” Jan. 11 – 28, captures the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition. Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another, including “What I Did for Love,” “I Can Do That,” “At the Ballet," "The Music and the Mirror" and "One.” Winner of nine Tony Awards.

From the underground dance clubs of 1950's Tennessee comes “Memphis,” Feb. 14 – March 3, is the story of a white radio DJ who wants to change the world and a black club singer who is ready for her big break. Winner of four 2010 Tony Awards.

The LPAC season concludes with “Hello, Dolly!,April 4 – 21. Matchmaker Dolly Levi is a widow and also a professional meddler, but everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is for herself. Winner of 10 Tony Awards.
