Punxsutawney Phil may have predicted six more weeks of winter, but it doesn’t mean it’s too early to gear up for spring sports.

Rainbow Sports League is offering spring volleyball and kickball in March. The league is an LGBTQ-friendly sports organization dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces for all kinds of athletes.

The registration deadline is March 26 for 6v6 volleyball and March 28 for 4v4. 6V6 matches will be held on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. at Mickel Park, while 4v4 will occur on Thursdays at the same time and place. The cost to sign up for both divisions is $70.

Not a volleyball fiend? No problem – Rainbow Sports League is also hosting kickball matches. You can sign up for Saturday games, which last from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or Monday games, which take place from 7-8 p.m. Both will hold matches at Mickel Park.

Registration is $70 for both. The sign-up deadline is March 29 for the Saturday option and March 30 for the Monday games. Both divisions will have 10-player teams.
