Whether you’re a pro or an athletic “hot mess,” get ready for a fall season filled with sporty opportunities.
HotMess Sports Miami, an LGBTQ sports league, kicks off its kickball season on Oct. 27 and will host regular season games every Sunday. A tournament will cap off the season on Dec. 8.
If you’re interested in joining, time is running out –– registration closes on Oct. 20 at 11:59 p.m. Free open play games will be held that same day if you’re wanting to sample the goods first.
Registration costs $49.95 and games will be held at Jose Marti Park. You must be aged 21 and up to play.
There is a minimum of 12 players per team, but you can still sign up individually. If you sign up with a group of people that isn’t enough to create a whole team, the league will pair you on the same team as long as you leave a comment when registering. No matter how you sign up, it’s a great opportunity to meet new people.
The fee covers pay for referees, superlatives, a championship trophy and an end-of-season party held at a bar.
