The third annual Queers Got Talent 2025 took place recently at the Compass Community Center. Palm Beach royalty Melissa St. John hosted the event and served the audience with her usual poise and her dynamic performance style.
QGT was a benefit talent show geared to raise money for Transpire Help, which is a nonprofit organization that provides solutions to folks who are underinsured. Their impactful programs grant opportunities for LGBTQ individuals who do not have any resources to access help. Transpire Help funds LGBTQ treatment, housing and basic needs for the LGBTQ community.
Attendees at the event were highly entertained thanks to the different categories of talent. Some categories included Vocal, Lip Sync, and Art. Judges for the event were Lady Marissa, Rand Hoch, Reign Chamber-Cox, and Fay Albernas. They had a tough job sorting through all the spectacular talent.
The second-place winner was Liam Chambers, who used his talents as a drag king. Although there were some very talented individuals, the judges unanimously agreed that the first-place winner was clear. He received a perfect score from each judge. Ziti Zephyrus took home the crown along with admiration from the audience. Both winners were from the lip sync category.
Winners of the Talent show will receive a cash prize and will be participating in the Palm Beach Pride Parade.
