As a long-time fan of pop culture and film, there’s something especially thrilling about the moment when a beloved series finally makes the leap to the big screen and the fans go wild with excitement.
And that’s exactly what happened with "Chainsaw Man the Movie: REZE Arc."
For those of us who spend our free time captivated by outlandish devils, human-hybrid heroes, and extreme visual flair, this film’s arrival is cause for genuine joy from fans of the anime and those who wish to explore the series and its themes and characters when it opens in theaters on October 24, 2025.
What is getting the fans excited isn’t just the spectacle, but the way it reconnects with the heart of the series: in a world where devils clash with hunters and nothing is safe, we follow Denji and his devil-dog partner Pochita into deeper chaos, now challenged by a mysterious figure named Reze.
The fan base for anime, and this anime, is huge and growing, and people love its type of animation, bold visuals, and characters who live on the edge of absurdity and emotion.
It’s clear from the buzz that this film is exactly what fans have been waiting for.
On a personal note: at the same time, I’ve been diving into the film’s world, I also took time to draw when invited to a private event where I could learn to sketch and draw characters, anime-style, at a private event in Fort Lauderdale.
I sketched a princess-type character and I’m proud to report I managed something that did not look like a stick figure!
The pride was real, guys. My husband, Sebastian, who was also in attendance and joined me at the event, was laughing and proud of me, as I kept sketching, erasing, and sketching again, until I felt that the drawing was ready to go.
For once, I made a face with hair and even tried shading. Having that drawing session made me realize how immersive these films are, and why they capture so many hearts and inspire others to become budding artists themselves.
Learning to draw my own character, while I was imagining their motivations and visualizing them in their own film felt like so much fun and therapeutic at the same time.
In short: this isn’t just another release; it’s a special moment for anime lovers.
Whether you’re already invested in the series or just curious about what all the energy is about, grab your ticket, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
It’s time to celebrate everything that makes anime special, including those bold styles, the writers and artist’s vivid imagination, all those things that always lead to unforgettable characters in an animated film such as this one.
As for me, the joy of drawing one of them (yes, a non-stick-figure!) made me happy and made me feel like it’s time to watch this show, the movie and to let even more anime films and shows into my daily life.
