Bears are on the prowl and taking over Wilton Manors. Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week (FKA Bears In the Alley) is back with new events, guests, and an even better vibe.
The week will be a true community event, with Gay Ocho Festival running an event, multiple bars holding parties, poolside soirées, and an adult entertainer showing fans a very different skill set.
Running March 5-10, it’s six days of pool parties, boat rides, even cabaret. Regular weekend passes start at $119 and VIP packages start at $319 and can be purchased at LauderdaleTropicalBear.com.
Tuesday, March 5
The week kicks off at Solstice at Wilton for the VIP Pool Party at 2 p.m. followed by a general admission welcome party that night at Pub On the Drive and Gym Bar starting at 8 p.m. through close.
Wednesday, March 6
Feel the seabreeze in your hair and smell the invigorating salty air during the VIP Jungle Cruise on the famous Jungle Queen riverboat.
That night is a new highlight of the week: Dad’s Cabaret featuring Drew Sebastian. The popular adult film star isn’t just versatile, he’s multifaceted. He developed his Dad’s Cabaret after singing for friends, cast, and crew between shoots on set.
“I was going to sing around a friend’s pool just to see how it would go. He said to just make a show, sing a few songs, and charge for tickets.” Drew just started the show in June, and has regular gigs in Palm Springs.
Thursday, March 7
The weekend kicks off with a gorgeous day of sun and fun at the Tropical Splash Rooftop Pool Party at Courtyard Downtown FTL at noon.
That night things get dark and sexy as Eagle hosts their Bare With Me Harness Party. Festivities start at 9 p.m. and the infamous Chi Chi La Rue will be DJing.

Gay Ocho Festival is hosting Bears In the Park, starring Crystal Waters and Varla Jean Merman. Gay Ocho faced problems and had to cancel this year’s party, which is usually one of, if not the biggest LGBTQ celebrations of Hispanic inclusivity.
That evening it’s back to Eagle for the Back Alley Dance Party starting at 9 p.m.
Sunday, March 10
SCRUFF hosts the Tsunami Pool Party at Ed Lugo Resort. The wrap up party is from 1-6 p.m.
