The Compass LGBTQ+ Community Center’s 2025 Stonewall Ball lit up the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion with an unforgettable night of glamour, resilience, and red-hot pride.

Held on June 28, the annual event brought together hundreds in celebration of queer excellence and community strength. Themed REDefined: The Art of Being Seen, Heard, and Felt, the evening was both a celebration and a call to action.

Executive Director Julie Seaver emceed the program, which honored two trailblazers in LGBTQ advocacy. Attorney Kim Enright received the Michael Brown Faces of the Community Award for her decades-long commitment to HIV/AIDS legal support. Dr. Alina Alonso, a founding Compass board member and longtime public health leader, was presented the Compass Leadership Award for her dedication to health equity and community resilience.

Ballroom competition brought extra energy to the evening, with Chris Rhoades, Melissa St. John, Lupita Hollywood, and Seaver herself judging the runway. Performances by the House of Balenciaga, Legendary Gorgeous Gucci, Miss Palm Beach Pride 2025 Sa’Mari Black Starr, and Mr. Palm Beach Pride 2025 J Wolf Lenore turned the stage into a celebration of queer culture and creative power.

“We created a space where people felt seen, safe, and celebrated,” said Lety Gonzalez, Compass’s Program Marketing & Media Director. “But Stonewall is more than a party — it’s a reminder that the fight for health, visibility, and justice continues.”

“Our lives, our loves, and our liberty should not be up for debate — and we’re not going back,” Seaver told the crowd. “It’s our job to hold the line.”

Proceeds from the event support Compass’s vital year-round services, including youth programs, free mental health counseling, HIV prevention and care, and cultural competency training across Palm Beach County.
