Eight-year-old Sigmund is a friendly, older gentleman that still has plenty of pep in his step.
In fact, when this 115-pound fellow first goes out for a walk he can pull very hard. (A proper walking harness is recommended for him.) That big burst of energy is momentary, and once Sigmund gets outside; he enjoys just being with you. Sigmund loves getting attention from people, and he enjoys playing tug of war with a rope toy. One staff member described him as a giant teddy bear who just wants belly rubs. He might bark to get your attention and to tell you stories. When he gets excited, he does his best to show you and does a little hop. This guy is a darling fellow, but sadly, he is completely overlooked by adopters because of his age and his size. Sigmund is too big to be living in a kennel and deserves to live out his golden years in a calm and loving home. Do you have room in your life for this beautiful big boy? Sigmund’s friends at J.R. Dunn Jewelers have kindly sponsored his adoption fee.
If Sigmund (ID A668619) sounds like he might be a good fit for you, please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and come to the shelter.
