Beer-based bread mixes make a great hostess gift or a fun activity for siblings who come home for the holidays.
Make sure to pick up a box of specialty pasta, the packaging alone is a work of art.
They also make gift boxes with some faves or let you build your own. This place is like the Louvre, you can’t see or try it all in one visit, but the discovery is half the fun.
Smoke Rings
For the cigar aficionado in your life, Tap That Ash in Wilton Manors, next to Hunters, has a fine stogie with a little something extra.
The Vicente is a small batch cigar blend from one producer, each is hand-made and, to paraphrase Beyoncé, they liked it so they put a ring on it.
“What is truly extraordinary about them is the band,” Tap That Ash co-owner Jonathan Resnick said. “The bands are jewelry-grade cigar bands, meaning they can be worn as jewelry.”
They are sold individually, but supplies are limited. Tap That Ash is the only place in the region selling this line.
Naughty & Nice
Need a little somethin’ somethin’ for the naughty and nice people in your life? A couple of neighbors on Wilton Drive have got you covered.
Rock Hard is stocked with fun adult toys from floor to ceiling. You may be familiar with their year-round supplies, but there are a few fun holiday items to check out.
From cuddly, leather clad bears to a set of Unihorns (collect them all!), these erotic accouterments will make for some very unsilent nights.
Right next door is To The Moon. The venerable gift shop is a one-stop shop for all things quirky. Christmas tree decorations hanging from the ceiling to locally sourced confections to classic games, the shop is always stocked with something new.
