It was a weekend of unlimited leather love. The third annual Florida Leather Weekend (FLW) drew hundreds to the heart of Wilton Manors and Eagle.
The standout event of this year was Boundless, billed as an alternative lifestyle block party. It started at 2 p.m. Nov. 16, but things really picked up once the sun went down.
There was a DJ along with leather and rubber clad entertainers on the main stage, with other performers working out in the crowd.
After a long week, Chuck King, EagleWM owner, is happy. Tired, but happy.
“FLW was a huge success. We had incredible feedback, and I am very pleased with how the event went. I can’t wait for next year!”
The party has the potential to grow into something of Folsom Street Fair East. There were several demonstrations, such as body modifications, that are geared to the leather community and those curious.
There were vendors selling unique, high-end leather gear and accessories, as well as plenty of food trucks and sweet treats by new local bakery Cake Daddy’s.
The weekend closed out Nov. 17 with the closing party and BLUF Social.
