“Pride has always been in the heart of Impact Encounters,” says founder Duni Bauta. He created his company in 2016 to put in motion a concept of traveling with like-minded people around the globe in a more impactful way. Duni comes with a wealth of experience in the travel and hospitality arenas. He was part of the management team of the iconic Jackie'O beach club in Mykonos.
Little did he know that almost a decade after, it would become the new rising star in the LGBTQ+ travel market. Today Impact Encounters has established itself as a new leading company for the gay community providing luxury but authentic customized travel experiences at every destination, enhanced with meaningful interactions with the local LGBTQ+ community.
Impact Encounters covers all seven continents for small to medium size groups. They offer on average five to seven scheduled departures a year. Their journeys/products are characterized by a personalized-concierge type of approach. Trips are meticulously curated to showcase the best-kept secrets.
Among the trips currently offered: A fully chartered mega yacht in Croatia that will sail The Dalmatian coast in September (2025 SOLD OUT) dates for 2026 and 2027 will be announced soon. A yearly trip to South Africa that includes a luxury stay in Cape Town, a wine tour & tasting in Franschhoek, and an off-the-beaten-path safari at a private game reserve resort in Kruger Park.
Founder Duni Bauta and Tours Director Sean Burke go on every trip to ensure a smooth ride. Impact Encounters is setting the bar high for a new era in LGBTQ+ travel.
