Sebastian and I always find ourselves gravitating back to the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT. It’s one of those places that feels familiar in the best way, and it’s relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for slowing down for a good meal. Yet, surprisingly, Via Napoli was a hidden gem for us, one nestled in the back of the pavilion that we had never visited.

And now, we are so happy we were invited and so thankful to have enjoyed such a memorable lunch at the restaurant, On our first visit to Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, we understood quickly why this restaurant has such a loyal following. The atmosphere is lively without feeling rushed, making it easy to enjoy the experience whether you are taking a break from walking around World Showcase or planning a longer sit-down meal.

Inside, the space feels warm and energetic, with large windows, high ceilings, and an open kitchen that highlights the restaurant’s three wood-fired ovens. Named after Italian volcanoes Etna, Vesuvius, and Stromboli, the ovens reflect the restaurant’s focus on traditional Neapolitan-style pizza. Watching the pizzas being prepared adds to the experience and reminds you that the food here is rooted in authentic techniques.

We started with cocktails that felt perfectly suited to the Italy Pavilion setting. The Aperol Spritz was light, crisp, and refreshing, with balanced citrus flavor that makes it an easy choice on a warm Florida day. The Espresso Martini inspired by tiramisu added something a little richer, combining espresso flavor with a smooth sweetness that works well as either a dessert cocktail or an after-dinner treat.

The pizza is the highlight of the menu and the reason many guests return. Via Napoli is known for its thin-crust Neapolitan-style pizza made with imported ingredients including San Marzano tomatoes and Italian flour. The result is a crust that is light with just enough texture, topped with balanced flavors that do not feel overly heavy. Options range from the classic Margherita with tomato, mozzarella, and basil, to the spicy Diavola, and the Quattro Formaggi for those who prefer a richer cheese-focused pizza. Portion sizes are generous, making it easy to share and try more than one flavor.

The menu also includes fresh salads, pasta dishes, and Italian specialties such as lasagna and chicken parmigiana, offering options for guests who want something beyond pizza. The variety makes Via Napoli a reliable choice for different tastes, whether visiting with family or friends.

Another detail that stood out during our visit was the kindness of the staff. Service felt attentive and welcoming without being overwhelming, allowing us to enjoy the meal at our own pace. That balance adds to the overall experience and makes the restaurant feel approachable rather than overly formal.

For us, Via Napoli fits naturally into what makes EPCOT special. Good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and time together in a place that continues to feel like our happy place. It is easy to see why this restaurant has become a favorite for so many guests looking for quality Italian food inside the park.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is located at the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT at 200 Epcot Center Dr in Lake Buena Vista, FL. For more information and to make reservations, visit disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/via-napoli/.
