Aaron @ Tulio’s is a relative newcomer to the Drive’s popular tacos and tequila bar.
He started as a weekend server only a year ago. But this personable young man has acquired such a following that he was already chosen Best Server (Male) by OutSFL’s readers. “I’m honored,” he says. “Thank you to everybody who voted every single day.”
Though Aaron might be new to Tulio’s, he has quite a resume. Before Tulio’s, Aaron managed Prime 112, a steakhouse on Miami Beach. Even today Aaron continues to work weekdays at LeatherWerks in addition to his weekend gig at Tulio’s.
This is a job he was meant for, “one of the jobs that, from the first day, I knew it was where I wanted to do.”
“I have a good number of regulars. A lot of them, if they come here, they come for me. When they come to see me, they come for the drinks, but they stay on for the food. And Tulio makes it easy to sell food,” he smiles.
Aaron is happily single, though he’s “taking applications.”
Despite his workload, Aaron has time for hobbies, which include growing plants and raising his beloved boxer. Aaron hopes to remain as a server at Tulio’s for quite a while, so those of us who call Wilton Manors our first or second home will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy his services, again and again.
