When it comes to being a trendsetter and a trailblazer, there are several queens that come to mind. In Palm Beach County, we celebrate the accomplishments of queen Velvet Lenore, who also reigns as Mizz OutSFL 2025.
Recently, Lenore was named the International Show Director for Lucky's Gay Bar located in downtown West Palm Beach.
Lenore’s new position means that she joined the Pride Holdings Group family as well as curating great entertainment for Lucky’s. According to their website, PHG has a unique vision to “create a vibrant, inclusive and safe space where the global LGBTQ+ community can come together to celebrate diversity, express individuality and foster meaningful life connections.”
“I want Lucky’s to be reminiscent of the bars that we used to have here in Palm Beach County. A lot of us in the community do not go out anymore because of the lack of variety,” Lenore said. “I want you to get an authentic experience as soon as you walk in the door. Look out for more male dancers, elaborate decorations and maybe even some fun themed brunches.”
Lenore is no stranger to entertainment, so convincing PHG that she was a good fit was not necessary. Velvet is a force to be reckoned with. Lenore is known for many talents like performer, professional dancer, choreographer and make-up artist.
She has established a reputation for portraying iconic entertainers like Donna Summer, Patti LaBelle, Janet Jackson and Beyoncé. She holds several titles such as Miss Kashmir, Miss Illusion, Miss Fort Lauderdale Entertainer of the Year, Miss Hollywood, Miss Stonewall, Miss Noche Latina and Miss Palm Beach Pride and Miss Naples.
