One of Palm Beach County’s most unique experiences, Lip Sync for the Kash, is hosted by popular drag performer Kash Fergold and held at H.G. Rooster’s in West Palm Beach.
H.G. Rooster’s used to have Friday nights in Palm Beach on lockdown with their Lip Sync Battle. Last month, thanks to popular demand, they decided to bring it back.
Each week, there are four first-time performers battling out for the top prize. There’s also a unique theme to each night. Some of the themes they have had were Jersey Shore and Pop Cherry. Audiences and social media are still buzzing about the Sharknado theme.
Note, I called this an experience instead of an event, mainly because it’s something that must be witnessed in person.
When it comes to gracing the stage at Rooster’s, Fergold got their start before the pandemic.
“Hosting ‘Lip Sync’ now feels like a full-circle moment for me,” Fergold said. “I started as a little baby on Fridays. I feel like it’s a huge responsibility because I am now able to provide a small stage for those that may not have the opportunity to shine on regular stages or large audiences.”
Lip Sync for the Kash will not only boost your energy for the weekend, but it will also help with increasing self-confidence. Who knows, you might even meet a friend or two.
