The South Florida Amateur Athletics Association (SFAAA) has plenty of reasons to celebrate –– and lots of opportunities for you to join in on the success. 

SFAAA is an LGBTQ-friendly softball organization that welcomes players from the community and allies.

The organization has multiple teams headed to the 2025 Gay Softball World Series in Houston, including the Phantoms, Silverhawks and the Titans D. At last year’s Gay Softball World Series in Las Vegas, the Silverhawks took first place in the Legends D division. The 2025 Gay Softball World Series will be held from Sept. 21 to 27.

Want to join in on the fun? You’re in luck –– The SFAAA 2025 fall season signups are fast approaching.

Registration opens on July 1 and will close on July 31. Preparations then begin for the season starting on Sept. 7. There will be 14 regular season games leading up to two playoff weekends on Nov. 9 and 16.

All this play ends over Thanksgiving weekend, where teams will have the opportunity to compete during the 31st annual Hurricane Showdown tournament.
