Miami Beach Pride returns to celebrate its 17th year of honoring the LGBTQ community with a dynamic lineup of events, performances, and activations. Taking place from March 27 through April 6, Miami Beach Pride welcomes more than 170,000 attendees from across the globe to experience the magic of this beloved celebration. The festivities culminate with the two-day festival and parade on April 5 and 6.
A journey of inclusion and discovery, the theme for 2025, “Embrace Your Journey,” invites attendees to explore and honor their unique paths through a whimsical, immersive experience inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.” Those attending Pride events will step into a world of wonder with themed decor and characters from the classic story, offering an imaginative and inclusive space to celebrate individuality, unity, and self-expression.
The Miami Beach Pride Festival offers something for everyone, with three stages showcasing world-class performances and an expansive array of exhibitor booths and interactive activations. Sasha Colby, one of this year’s Grand Marshals, will lead the iconic parade on April 6 and deliver a main stage performance.
Eleven days of events lead up to the festival and parade. Miami Beach Pride kicks off on March 27, with the Progress Pride Flag being raised at Miami Beach City Hall, a powerful symbol of unity and inclusion. Over the following days, attendees can enjoy a diverse lineup of events, including:
- Pride Lights the Night at the “Flip the Switch” event at Soundscape Park on March 27.
- “In The Wyld” - A Garden of Eve preview party at Gaythering on March 28.

- Pride Movie Night at Rooftop Cinema Club on March 30.

It all culminates in the Miami Beach Pride two-day Festival at Lummus Park happening on April 5 and 6, with the Pride Parade on Ocean Dr. taking place from 5th to 14th Street on April 6, stepping off at noon with Grand Marshals Sasha Colby and RaeShanda Lias. Sasha Colby is an icon in the LGBTQ community and the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 15. She is a fierce advocate for trans rights and self-expression. RaeShanda Lias, a fearless advocate and influential voice for social justice, has used her platform to uplift marginalized communities and champion LGBTQ rights. One of the first floats in the parade, The Legacy Couples, established during the first Pride in 2009, recognizes same-sex couples who have been in committed relationships of 10 years or longer. There are currently 112 couples in the program spanning Baby Boomers, Generation Jones, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z, some have been in their relationships for 50+ years. The float always garners cheers from the crowd.
The festival will feature numerous stages to accommodate such luminary musicians, comics, and DJs as; Kiesza, Daya, Alyssa Edwards, Jewels Sparkles, Eliad Cohen, Crystal Waters, Luxx Noir London, Gabby B, Jules Liesl, Rimarkable, Grant Knoche, Shannon, Roz Hernandez, Debby Holiday, SANTI, Danny Verde, Mary Mac, Vikina, Joshua Ruiz, José Alfredo, and Miamibloco: Samba Percussion Collective.
In addition to various liquor companies sponsoring booths, there will be a food court, offering a wide selection of eight food vendors serving a variety of cuisines from around the world. The Lawn at the Calming Pavilion is a safe space for anyone who wants to take a break from the action, with tons of games and activities for all ages. On Sunday it will serve as the home for "Tea with Elders" — an opportunity for younger members of the community to gain generational understanding through conversation.
Miami Beach Pride is the leading LGBTQ cultural arts organization in South Florida. It annually produces a $1.8 million Pride Festival and Parade for free for the community. This year, they’re taking their roundup a step further with exclusive pre- and after-parties. These curated events will make this Miami Music Week one to remember (or…at least try to remember). For a full schedule go to ultramusicfestival.com.
