Bonjour to berets, brie, and all things French. The Center for Spiritual Living (CSL) is holding their eighth annual gala, One Night In Paris, on Saturday, February 24, at their headquarters at 4849 N. Dixie Hwy. in Oakland Park.
The party starts at 6 p.m. and will feature your host, Henrí, a colorfully clad fellow who says it will be a night of music, dancing, and food. There will be silent and live auctions throughout the night.
“We will have wonderful times. Beautiful times!” Henrí teases.
CSL is an open and LGBTQ welcoming organization. Part of their mission statement says, “We believe that the Universal Spirit, which is God, operates through a Universal Mind which is the Law of God and that we are surrounded by this Creative Mind which receives the direct impress of our thought and acts upon it.”
They recently hired Natalie Tyler, an out and proud lesbian, as their new executive director. Her plans include more community outreach and building on the strong community foundation that already exists in the organization.
