It is with immense pride and gratitude that I share some incredible news: our beloved Wilton Manors has been named the Most Livable City in Florida!
While the data points highlighted in this accolade — such as our walkability, safety, and vibrant local economy — are undeniable markers of success, there is something even more remarkable that makes this city truly exceptional: our community.
We are more than just numbers on a ranking; we are a community of people who passionately support one another and the causes that reflect our shared values. We rally behind local organizations, invest in the arts, and celebrate the unique culture that makes Wilton Manors a beacon for inclusivity and creativity.
From our talented local musicians, actors, and playwrights creating original works that are loved worldwide, to the incredible events that bring visitors from across the globe — such as Wicked Manors, Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride, and Rock the Block (coming this February) — our city is a hub of connection, celebration, and creativity.
The fact that our city is home to not one, not two, but three local LGBTQ publications — OutSFL, OutClique, and Hotspots — is a testament to just how much is happening here in our 1.94 square miles of magic.
I am profoundly grateful to every individual and organization that has poured their passion into making Wilton Manors a city we are proud to call home. It’s because of all of you — our residents, businesses, and visitors — that we have earned this recognition.
And here’s the best part: we’re just getting started. Together, we will ensure that the best is yet to come.
Thank you for helping make Wilton Manors not only the most livable city in Florida, but the most extraordinary place in the world to call home.
With gratitude,
Chris Caputo, Vice Mayor of Wilton Manors
