Many thanks to Holy Cross Hospital for all of their efforts to provide LGBTQ competent services.

Holy Cross is also to be commended for being a major sponsor of this June's Pride event. Other medical providers continued to show their ongoing support like Baptist Hospital, Memorial, and Cleveland Clinic, but the largest medical provider in Broward County was missing, as usual. 
 
The absence of Broward Health did not go unnoticed. They are sending a very clear message to the residents of Broward County and their thousands of LGBTQ employees who work diligently to provide quality services to their patients. One of their hospitals, Imperial Point, has made some efforts to provide culturally-competent services, but the goal should be treating ALL patients, at ALL locations, with the dignity and respect they deserve.
