(I meant professionally, and I’m sorry for ending that sentence with a preposition, Ms. Strassman.)

Sing to Me

You’re used to staring at his backside as he directs the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, but on Nov. 14, you get to see his handsome face as Gabe Salazar puts his vocal talents on display as Sunshine Cathedral Center for the Performing Arts kicks off its 18th Season. The chorus’ Artistic Director takes center stage for “A Musical Night with Gabe Salazar,” as he invites you into an intimate setting where Salazar will share some of his favorite songs alongside the stories that shaped them. Accompanied by the extraordinary pianist Darren Matias and joined by a few surprise guests, the evening promises heartfelt performances, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Make Me Laugh

If you missed the hysterical, multifaceted comedian Matteo Lane at The Parker a few months ago, you’ve got another chance to see him as he brings his “We Gotta Catch Up!” tour to The Kravis Center on March 28. Lane is known for his unique blend of stand-up comedy, musical prowess, and artistic versatility. Hailing from Chicago, Lane’s comedic journey has taken him from New York City comedy clubs to sold-out performances across the globe, including Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. His most recent stand-up special, “Matteo Lane: The Al Dente Special,” debuted on Hulu in May 2025. Previously named as one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” and described by Advocate as “bold and unflinchingly genuine,” Lane tackles a wide range of topics from his experiences as a gay man to hilarious insights into everyday life. Fluent in five languages and with a singing range of six octaves, Matteo has lived in Italy as an oil painter and classically trained opera singer before starting his comedy career. Sing to Me, Again

Step into an unforgettable night of music, stories, and Broadway magic as Gray Box Theater and Our Fund present “An Evening with Andrew Keenan-Bolger” on Thursday, Nov. 13. Don’t let that babyface fool you, Folger is a seasoned star (alright, he started when he was 10 years old). After a brief appearance on the soap “One Life to Live” he made the jump to Broadway, where his youthful appearance has served him well. He made his Broadway debut in “Seussical” and from there his career trajectory has skyrocketed, starring in television, film, and of course, on Broadway, including “Disney's Mary Poppins,” “Disney's Aladdin,” “Disney's Newsies,” and “Tuck Everlasting.” He has also been seen on television as Christophe on the series “The Naked Brothers Band” and as a weekly commentator on FNMTV on MTV. Don’t get your hopes up, though. Keenan-Bolger married Scott Bixby, the former White House reporter for The Daily Beast, on Oct. 13, 2018.

Andrew brings artistry, authenticity, and heart to every performance. He’ll be joined in this show by John McDaniel, the Emmy and Grammy Award-winning music director, conductor, and composer, beloved for The Rosie O’Donnell Show and numerous Broadway and symphony productions worldwide. Together, they’ll take audiences on a journey through Broadway favorites, hidden gems, and personal stories from behind the curtain. For tickets and more information, go to graybox.theater.
