The Our Fund Foundation awarded a total of $300,000 in grants through its 2024 Arts & Culture Fund to 16 deserving organizations and projects that support dynamic LGBTQ-specific programs and initiatives in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
With generous funding from the Warten Foundation, which supports Our Fund’s grant programs, the arts and culture beneficiaries received grants ranging from $5,000 - $20,000 during a reception at on Sept. 30 at the Wilton Art Works Gallery in recognition of the impact they each have on South Florida’s vibrant LGBTQ community.
“With the current political climate and the recent elimination of Florida’s arts and culture state grants, it is vital we support these talented organizations that enrich our community in so many ways,” said David Jobin, President and CEO of The Our Fund Foundation, in a press release. “These grants would not be possible without the generosity and forethought of our passed Legacy Society members who included The Our Fund in their wills and estate plans.”
