After being a Top Four finalist during Season 10 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Kameron Michaels quickly hit the Las Vegas stage as part of the inaugural cast of “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” (and subsequently, the docuseries “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue”).

After being forced to slow down during the pandemic, Michaels took some time away from the stage (and social media) and dove headfirst into fitness and he said on his socials “hit the books” and is now a certified personal trainer. Michaels is also jumping into a bit of a spicier platform, launching an OnlyFans (with full frontal officially being revealed on Valentine’s Day)! I sat down for a chat with the notoriously private Michaels and we chatted about his fitness journey, the chances of a return to the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” main stage, and the relationship that he feels right now, is “perfect.”

We are seeing a whole new Kameron Michaels in 2025, with both your OnlyFans debuting and launching your own fitness program. What can longtime fans expect from Kameron Michaels now?

New year, New Me! This year is the year we are doing exactly what we want to. I’ve dreamed of jumping into the fitness industry for years and it is long overdue. Drag will continue to be a part of my life, but it is time for new adventures.

You are already well-known for your fitness on “RuPaul’s Drag Race“ and off, but was it difficult to step away from drag and into the fitness realm?

I have not stepped away from drag; pulled back perhaps? Sure. I started studying for my personal trainer certification in 2021 and I just couldn’t juggle the traveling and studying. So I took the necessary time I needed to stay home, hit the books, and make me dream my new reality.

What is your best advice for someone starting their own fitness journey?

My best advice for someone starting there fitness journey is “Get Ready.” Get ready for your whole life to change. The positive effects of fitness will not only alter your physical and mental health, it will change your whole outlook on life.

OnlyFans is a fearless and fantastic way to embrace and own your own creativity. Was there a specific moment that you decided to take the leap and how did you ignore the voices that said “Don’t do it?”

I secured my URL back in 2021. I suppose I had my reservations over the years, but after a some tough year of depression and some mental health struggles, I finally felt confident enough to hit post. And I’m so excited that I did. I no longer care about outside opinions of how I choose to live my life. I’m having a blast so far!

What are you looking forward to most about venturing into OnlyFans and revealing aspects of yourself that people may not be familiar with?

I’m most excited to just have fun. Posting artsy or suggestive photos has always been on the sideline of my social media. But having younger fans watching my socials, I wanted to give my spicy content a home where adults can enjoy it.

You are very evidently choosing happiness. What has been the secret to finding your own happy place at this point in your career and life?

I think finding happiness really is the meaning of life. No amount of money or fame is going to give that to you. So taking a step back and reassessing the trajectory of my life has put me on the path to doing things that bring me happiness and joy. Oh, and I love not traveling as often for work. I’m such a homebody…that brings me happiness.

Relationships in our community can be challenging, and keeping them for yourself can be even harder in the social media world. How are you navigating that?

My relationship is just that: private. And it’s perfect just the way that it is. I see no need to change that.

You probably get a version of this question all the time, but I am going to change it up a bit: if you were to hypothetically return toRuPaul’s Drag Race” for an “All Stars” season, what do you think your talent would be in the talent show that opens that show?

I would probably go home first. I have no idea what my talent would be. Nor do I care. I have tremendous talents in so many other areas of my life that don’t require a spotlight or a stage.

Final question: do you think we will ever see a time when you and your partner go Instagram official? Or are you enjoying keeping it just for the two of you?

I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that I am happier than I’ve ever been and things are perfect just the way they are.
