“Bathhouse to Broadway" is a tribute show that celebrates Bette Midler's career at Pompano Beach Cultural Center on March 7.

The show stars Shelley Keelor and features Midler's iconic songs in her theatrical, humorous, and bold style. Keelor and her own “Harlettes” do not impersonate Midler. This is her love letter to Midler, highlighting her most iconic hits. As gifted a singing actress Keelor is, she shares the stage equally with her co-stars, Sabrina Lynn Gore and Courtney Anello, and each bring their own interpretation to songs. The show has played to sold-out houses around South Florida, including its premiere at The Gray Box Theatre. Tickets start at $53 and are available at PompanoBeachArts.org/Events/Bette-Midler

Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie celebrates a beloved composer in “Take Me To The World: The Songs of Stephen Sondheim” on Friday, March 6, at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center. VIP tickets include a post-show meet and greet/photo opportunity with McKechnie and are available at AventuraCenter.org

A week later at Aventura, Frank Marino celebrates the 40th anniversary of his “Legendary Divas” show with his final Florida tour on Friday, March 13. Experience the music of amazing female superstars as Marino and his cast of impersonators pay homage to some of the greatest artists in music history. Marino is the longest-running headliner in Las Vegas, known for his award-winning impersonation of Joan Rivers. Tickets are available at AventuraCenter.org

There are also two landmark Broadway musicals opening soon. Grammy and Tony Award-winning musical Hell’s Kitchen, written by 17-time Grammy Award-winner Alicia Keys, makes its Fort Lauderdale premiere, running March 10-22, at the Broward Center.
