The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida's next concert, “Broadway Blockbusters,” will be at The Parker in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, March 21, at 8 p.m.

From heartfelt ballads to high-energy showstoppers, Broadway's music speaks to resilience, love, and the unapologetic embrace of who we are. Critically acclaimed David Maiocco is a virtuoso pianist, musical director, and actor who has created the most uncanny and accurate tribute to one of his idols, the original Mr. Showman, Liberace. The City of Aventura in collaboration with Yi Love Jewish presents a magical sing-along evening celebrating one of the most beloved musicals of all time, Fiddlers on the Roof: A Yi Love Jewish Sing-A-Long on Saturday, April 5 at 8 p.m. at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. The audience is invited to belt out songs including "Tradition," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" and "Sunrise, Sunset" with lyrics provided on the screen. Aaron Kula and his Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra will accompany a cast of talented singers and the audience as they sing along to this timeless story of family, faith, and belonging in the ever-changing world. Are you ready to dazzle under the stage lights and make your voice heard? The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida is holding auditions for Dazzling Divas, its spectacular Pride Concert, and they want you to be part of it! Sign up at bit.ly/gmcsf_audition. Auditions are being held on Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m. at Sunshine Cathedral for the concert on Saturday, June 21.

Revel in the mystery and magnificence of Mozart’s Requiem as the South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO) presents its premiere of the composer’s final moving masterpiece and his Symphony No. 40 in G minor on Tuesday, March 11, at New World Center in Miami Beach and on Wednesday, March 12, at The Parker in Fort Lauderdale. Both concerts will start at 7:30 p.m. A pre-concert chat with Dr. Alan Mason will take place 30 minutes before the show at New World Center featuring in-depth conversation and insights about the work and composer.

The Pompano Players’ “Respect: A Musical Journey of Women” opens March 28 at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center. From Cyndi Lauper to Betty Boop, Tina Turner to Britney Spears, female singers and pop stars and their music provide a vivid reflection of how much has changed for women since the beginning of the 20th century. “Respect: A Musical Journey of Women” is an entertaining, exuberant, and exhilarating look at the lives of women as reflected in the popular music of the times.
