As PrEP has become a major focus of preventing HIV, Care Resource has stepped up to become a major player.

Care Resource has four Miami locations including Midtown Miami, Little Havana, Miami Beach and at the Foor For Life Network. The organization launched in 1998 after a merger between the Health Crisis Network (1983) and the Community Research Initiative of South Florida (1989).
Their website says the merger makred “a pivotal moment in the HIV/AIDS battle. This alliance positioned Care Resource as a leading organization in South Florida, providing unparalleled support, pioneering research, and transformative resources to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Their impact on the community is indelible, leaving a lasting legacy in the fight against the condition."
