The West End Lounge earned two awards from readers this year: Best Drink and Best Bar Owner for Chris O’Neill.

The award for best drink recognized the bar’s Anastasia Beaverhausen, which is described as a citrusy, herbal and light cocktail on the menu.

The drink includes Tito’s Vodka, limoncello, fresh basil and lemon.

The West End Lounge features an upscale atmosphere with premium cocktails.

"It was an incredible honor to initially receive so many nominations after only being open a few months. To win several awards is simply a thrill. It underscores how the community embraced us the moment we opened our doors," said owner Chris O’Neill. "The secret sauce to any business is the team, and that couldn’t be more true than with The West End Lounge. Our staff is exceptional, offering hospitality-style service to ensure every customer feels at home at the lounge."

The bar also hosts performers from around the world to play live music for guests. Pianist Alexander Zenoz plays every Tuesday from 8-9:30 p.m., and pop/jazz pianist Beau Cornelius plays every Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m.

Runner-up for Best Drink: Marshmallow Martini at DrYnk

Runner-up for Best Bar Owner in Broward: Mark Hunter at Hunters.
