Leonie Wims is a Physician of Eastern Medicine and the winner of the Reader’s Choice award for Best Doctor.
“I am absolutely elated about my award. This has given added validation for the work I do, and I am so humbled by being recognized,” Wims said.
Wims’ practice Longville Wellness is in Fort Lauderdale. Longville Wellness, is named after a tiny rural town where Wims was born in Jamaica, “as an ode to my country.”
Wims said Longville is built on a foundation of compassion and empathy, and dedicated to helping patients achieve their goals in a supportive and nurturing environment.
“Our focus is holistic health, treating each person as a whole, including their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being,” she said.
Longwell focuses on modalities of acupuncture, herbal therapy, manual therapy, and nutritional counseling. The practice also provides massage therapy, yoga classes, holistic aesthetics and seminar space.
