Wilton Manors Business Association wins Best Business Group. The organization can trace its roots back to 1953.
“Our genuine appreciation and gratitude go to the community for their support and for recognizing how hard our all-volunteer board works with all small businesses (whether or not a member) in the greater Wilton Manors community to help cultivate and grow businesses and provide education and services to our community,” said Ron Falk, Vice President of WMBA.
With close to 200 members, WMBA links all the businesses in Wilton Manors and the surrounding area, offering excellent business-to-business networking opportunities.
The group hosts regular events like Lunch & Learn & various networking Events; Breakfast with the Mayors; Annual Business & Health Expo; Wilton Manors Business Directory; Community Entertainment Events and the WMBA Holiday Spectacular.
"This past year we are extremely proud to have spearheaded the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program which, through November 2023, we have delivered over 45 AED units and trained over 135 individuals from organizations, businesses and government institutions on First Aid, Stop the Bleed, and CPR Training,” Falk said. “This program has saved these organizations tens of thousands of dollars in just the first year.”
