The Front Runners and Walkers of Fort Lauderdale (FRWFL) are taking on St. Pete.

The LGBTQ-friendly athletic organization is encouraging its members to sign up for the St. Pete Run Fest, which will take place Nov. 15-17.

FRWFL members have the option of signing up for a 5k, 10k or a half-marathon. Running all three costs $265, but prices decrease depending on the combination of races you sign up for.

Late fees are applicable starting Oct. 16, so grab those prices while you can. The deadline to register for all events is Nov. 15.

If the cost is turning you away, FRWFL offers grants for those who have been paid members of the org. for at least three months at the time of applying. Each member applying is eligible for $150 in grants.

FRWFL is making trip accommodations for those interested. It’s renting a VRBO house in St. Pete for two nights. It’ll cost org members $275 for both nights.

The organization is also offering carpool options for those needing a ride to make the roughly four-hour trip from Fort Lauderdale to St. Pete.
