In yet another, can you believe they actually said that, the newly minted Vice Presidential nominee for the Republican Party, JD Vance, has caused quite a stir.
In an interview in 2021 Vance referred to the Democratic Party and specifically, at the time, Vice President Kamala Harris, as one of “the childless cat ladies [who] want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”
He added, “If you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez], the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.”
Vance doubled down on his remarks when he sat down with former FOX host Megyn Kelly last week for an interview on SiriusXM. Backlash came swift and fast, with Vance engaging in a social media war with beloved “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston.
Do these jokers even want to get votes?
They revel in their cruelty. Looking closer, these attacks on the childless are attacks on the queer community. Gay men make up a large percentage of people without children. Queer people turn to IVF to start and complete these families.
