Three impeccably dressed leathermen stood on stage at Eagle. Each had made their case for why they should be named Mr. Eagle 2025. Now it was down to the judges’ decision.
Chuck King, Eagle owner and event co-host, made the announcement. “The winner of Mr. Eagle 2025 is Razr!”
The crowd, filled with members of the local leather community as well as titleholders from across the country, went wild. At that moment all the tension turned to a wave of euphoria.
Razr described that moment to OutSFL. “Nerve wracking. A lot of work went into it. It was wonderful. It was a great experience.”
It was only on the night of Nov. 15, but it had already been a long weekend for Razr and his fellow contestants. They did a meet and greet with judges and the community on Nov. 14 and a long, sit down interview with the judges that afternoon.
Nov. 16 saw the jockstrap, short Q&A, and formal wear competitions. As fun as it was for the audience, it was just as stressful for the contestants.
Razr will also be a contender for International Mr. Leather over Memorial Day Weekend.
“I want to prepare myself more for interviews, so I’m a little more polished. Spend more money. I have everything custom-made.”
And while bringing the IML title to Wilton Manors would be great, Razr said he’s already reached his primary goal.
“To me, the important title is Mr. Eagle and the community here, finding my strength and community here.”
