Pets | Dexter: I Enjoy Pets and Catnip

Dexter via The Humane Society of Broward County.

Sweet Dexter has been through so much, now he needs a home to recover and get lots of TLC.

When 8-year-old Dexter came to the shelter, the clinic staff noticed he was having trouble walking. X-rays revealed a broken tibia which was a few weeks old and healing poorly. Dexter underwent surgery to have his leg amputated, and he is doing so much better now. He enjoys pets, a bit of catnip and really wants a forever home. Are you the perfect cat-lover to adopt Dexter?

To meet Dexter (ID A971815) or any other pet, visit www.humanebroward.com to complete the pre-adoption application and then visit the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL.  The adoption kennels open daily at 11 a.m. and if you have any questions call 954-989-3977 ext. 6.
