Craig Jungwirth has a long list of charges but few if any actual convictions. Until now.
On Jan. 14, Jungwirth pleaded “no contest” to misdemeanor charges and was sentenced on the spot to time served, court costs, and must write a letter of apology to the victim.
“The guy put me through hell for more than five years,” the victim told OutSFL shortly after the hearing.
Jungwirth was facing several phone-related harassment charges. It wasn’t immediately clear which ones he agreed to plead no contest.
Despite being sentenced to time served, Jungwirth is not walking out of jail any time soon. He’s facing a felony charge of aggravated stalking, which could go to trial as soon as next month. That charge has a $20,000 bond, but even if he were to post the money, he won’t be released. Orange County has a “hold” on his release.
Jungwirth has long been accused of everything from domestic violence and selling tickets to fake events to harassing individuals for no apparent reason.
But getting convictions has been much harder.
He has alluded process servers and law enforcement alike. He was arrested last April but bonded out and quickly disappeared. In September, Jungwirth was arrested in Orange County, was denied bond, and sent back to Broward County.
