As pet care costs rise, Broward County Animal Care (BCAC) will support local pet owners with free community Pet Care Clinics this August.
These clinics will provide preventative care services like rabies vaccines, microchipping, and other preventatives at no cost, helping to ensure that pets remain healthy without the burden of high expenses. Participants must be Broward County residents, online pre-registration is encouraged as time slots are filling up. Register online at ACDAPPOINTMENTCENTER.AS.ME/MOBILECLINIC
BCAC’s Pet Care Clinic will be held at the following locations:
- Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 10 AM - 1 PM

BCAC will provide various essential services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and other preventative care measures. These services typically cost hundreds of dollars at private clinics and will be offered at no charge.
“Maintaining a pet’s health can be a financial strain for many families, which is why we’re committed to extending our services beyond the four walls of our facility and into the community,” said Doug Brightwell, Director of BCAC. “These community Pet Care Clinics allow us to bring essential care directly to pet owners, ensuring that all pets in Broward County have access to the preventative services they need to stay healthy and happy.”
Services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and all services are subject to availability. Pet owners are encouraged to arrive early and pre-register online to secure their spot.
