HOLIDAY WHINES: No, it’s not, “I wanted cha-cha heels!” I’m talking about fine wines for your table.
It’s never too early to start thinking about the holiday season. Doris Italian Market & Bakery will host its Wine Night on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8:30-10:30 p.m. at its store in the Shoppes at City Centre in North Palm Beach. This is a chance to learn how to choose wines that pair with Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
During the tasting event, more than a dozen tables will be set up throughout the store with more than 150 wines from vineyards throughout the world. Admission includes an unlimited number of tastings. A table of artisan cheeses, full gourmet buffet, and cannoli cake will also be available to accompany the wine and bubbly. Whether you’re hosting a party this holiday season or need to purchase gifts, it will be an excellent opportunity to stock up on bottles of wine and champagne. Those attending will have access to special pricing on select wines during the event. Tickets are $49.95 and are available at dorismarket.com. For more information, email
