Ronnie Larsen combs his past for dramatic (and comedic) material in his latest play, “Scenes From My Love Life,” which runs through Oct. 13 at The Foundry.

As with most of his work, there is a warning about “nudity and sexual situations.” I think I’d be more shocked if there weren’t any! As Larsen recalls, “’Scenes From My Love Life’ [is] the first play I ever wrote 30 years ago when I was 25. Just like today, I had no idea what I was doing … but I wanted to put my experiences as a gay man on stage and the play was a hit … Thus began a new chapter in my life as a gay playwright. Join us as we travel back in time to gay San Francisco in the early '90s before the internet and before Grindr.”

“Scenes From My Love Life” is a light-hearted, sexy comedy about nine gay men in San Francisco looking for sex, love, and connection. This show is being co-produced and co-stars the owners of Peacock Residences. Tickets are available at ronnielarsen.com.

Auditions for the next show at The Foundry, “Stray Dog Story,” are being held on Sept. 23-24. Eight males between the ages of 20-40 and one female, between the age of 40-60 are needed.
